]]> On Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, LTS started its 26th academic year in Pretoria, and its 75th academic year since the formation of an official seminary in Salem near Piet Retief in 1941. It was a special day, since a groundbreaking ceremony was held to mark the construction of a new building on campus. Rector Hiestermann preached on the watchword from Revelation 21:5: “Behold, I am making all things new”. There are several new things to celebrate, like the new academic year, the new students, and the start of the new building. But in the end, all the new things are done to prepare students to proclaim the message of him, who is coming again to make all things new. Please keep LTS in your prayers again this new academic year.
