]]> Four new computers have been donated to the LTS library by the Diasporawerk of the SELK. The donation was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Werner Klän, who is the chairperson of the Diasporawerk. He currently is teaching Lutheran Confessions II (Smalcald Articles and Formula of Concord) at LTS, and realized the need for new computers, as the current ones are old and very slow. The old computers will still be used though. They have been moved to the student dorms, so that students can do their assignments even when the library is closed. In the library, the computers are used for Computer Literacy classes, for research and general use by the students! On the photo are Prof. Klän, librarian Margarette van Zyl, and some of the students in the Computer Literacy class. We are very grateful for this very useful donation!

On Thursday, September 13 2018, the LTS received a donation of 2 new computers. The equipment was provided to LTS as a generous donation of the Diasporawerk, a recognized service organization of the SELK in Germany. We at the LTS are sincerely grateful for the donation and wish to express our gratitude to the generous donors. One computer has been set up for the LTS library to manage the ongoing cataloguing of books and administration of the library. The other has been installed in the LTS office to replace the ageing predecessor unit there. Both are much needed items and come as very welcome additions to the LTS infrastructure. Thanks be to God.
