We are grateful that – for the first time since the start of Covid – we were able to host our usual number of four intensive courses per year during 2022. For our fourth and final intensive of 2022, which focusses especially on Martin Luther, we even have three lecturers for the intensive course. Prof. Dr. Christian Neddens from the Lutherische Theologische Hochschule Oberursel (SELK, Germany) is teaching a course on Martin Luther’s live and teachings. Last week he taught the students Luther’s biography, this week he is reading key texts from Luther’s writings with them. His wife Anne, a medical doctor, is teaching a course on caring for the mentally ill. Rev. Tobias Ahlers (FELSISA) is teaching Luther’s Smalcald Articles. We thank these lecturers for the great sacrifices they make to travel to LTS and teach our students. May God bless students and teachers. On the photo, from left to write, you can see Dr. Christian Neddens, Dr. Anne Neddens, Rev. John Nkambule, Rev. Mintesinot Birru Hanfato, Dr. Hiestermann, and Rev. Tobias Ahlers.
