On January 26, 2018, Drs. Winterle and Böhmer travelled to the nearby University of Pretoria to meet with representatives of the Faculty of Theology to discuss possible avenues for cooperation between the two institutions. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the LTS and UP in 2011 and is due for review and renewal.
