Dear friends in Christ,
we greet you this Lententide with words of the prophet Isaiah:“He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed” (Is 53:5).
May our Lord this season show us our sin, lead us to repentance, and strengthen our faith in Him, through whose wounds we are healed.
