LTS Represented at FELSISA Pastors’ Convention

Recently, the FELSISA held its annual Pastors’ Convention in the bushveld on the game farm Impalabos belonging to the Reinstorf family in the vicinity of Hoedspruit, just west of the Kruger National Park. Here the pastors gathered for a week of presentations, prayer, devotions, theological dialogue, and exchange. On the agenda were various items such as feedback on the dialogue series with the ELCSA (N-T) in the forum of the Theological Working Group (TWG) working at establishing commonalities and differences between the two church bodies; feedback on the work of the Theological Commission of the FELSISA; providing guidelines for the service of vacant ELCSA (N-T) congregations in the area of Dundee, KZN with Word and Sacrament; information on the mission work and post-cyclone situation in Mozambique, and the like. During the convention, LTS Rector Dr. C. Walter Winterle also addressed the pastors, providing updates on the LTS and thanking them for support received.
