On Friday, June 27, LTS was visited by the leadership of the ELCSA-WD. Bishop MJH Ubane, Deputy Bishop KG Molete and the Chaplain of the Bishop, Rev. ME Motswasele visited the LTS. They joined students and staff for the morning devotion in which Rector Walter Winterle preached on Romans 6:12-23. After the devotion, a meeting took place between the ELCSA-WD representatives, Rector Winterle and the Registrar of LTS, Dr. H. Hiestermann. The representatives of the ELCSA-WD enquired about the progress of the two students of their church who are studying at LTS. Further discussions revolved around the curriculum offered by LTS, as well as a possible MOU between ELCSA-WD and LTS for the future theological education of their pastors. After the meeting, Rector Winterle gave the ELCSA-WD leaders a tour of the campus.
