LTS lecturers are regularly serving in local congregations on Sundays. On Reformation Sunday in the Diepkloof Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, LTS lecturer Rev. Mintesinot Hanfato had the great privilege of baptising 9 people (8 children and 1 teenager) in the name of the triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. May God keep these young people in their baptismal grace. Rev. Hanfato serves as vacancy pastor of the congregation. The connection of LTS lecturers to local congregations is important to ensure that students are properly prepared for serving in a congregation.
